Introduction To Finally Free To Travel

Hello everyone and welcome to the Finally Free To Travel blog!  I am very excited to share with you all my travel experiences and my travel tips and tricks to hopefully help everyone ranging from first-time wanderers to veteran travelers. If you have any questions that I don’t cover in a blog post, please feel free to comment or ask me via any of my social media links to this blog.

First, an introduction. My name is Wanderlust Jim and I’ve always had the wanderlust bug.  However, like most of us I’ve found and used every possible reason to postpone heading out into the big wide world.  I am a senior citizen and proud of it.  I believe that it is never too late to set out to see the world, and therefore, I will highlight a lot of things that can make life easier for senior travelers.  If you are a new wanderer, you also are faced with getting up to speed on all the new technological gizmos since we live in a world dominated by technology.  I shall try my best to help you bridge that gap.

DISCLAIMER: I do not intend to share with you photographs that I’ve taken on my trips.  These are my memories and I feel that you need to go out there and find and save your memories.  So, you’ll just have to take your own photographs and remember your own unforgettable spots. The majority of my blog posts and questions answered will be aimed at tips and tricks to help you avoid the obstacles that await you as you try to tame the travel bug.

I’ve also listed many items that can make life easy for you.  These can be found in the Wanderlust Adventure Products Store.  If there is anything specific you’d like to know about traveling, please let me know and I’ll be sure to post about it!  I have several ideas in mind right now for blog posts, but I’d like to get input from anyone who has questions or concerns about traveling. Thanks again and I hope you will enjoy my ramblings about traveling on this blog!

  • This site is awesome. I got the walking sticks for our hiking trip through Iceland along with the mini umbrella and gps keychain. I really liked what I got. I’ll be back for more! Thanks.

  • I LOVE your website! I found so many perfect travel gear items for my 3 month trip through Asia! I totally loved the water filter and backpack that folded into my pocket! I also got the whistle to feel safe as I am a female solo traveler! Thank you so much! Excited to read more of your travels!
